2021 ended with a hopeful wish: “The pandemic, which we all hope will end as soon as possible, may at least have the merit of telling the world how important it is to take action for mental health”. Well, let’s start 2022 sharing this information (by Heidi.news), which illustrates this optimistic perspective: the Covid-19 pandemic has indeed triggered unprecedented debates on mental health issues in China. And this has led to developments that would have been unthinkable a few years ago, such as the opening of the No. 600 art gallery in the Shanghai Mental Health Center or the success of the Chinese TV series “the psychologist”, the first ever to be devoted to consulting a therapist.
